We recently advertised for a part time role at our organisation, we are in growth mode and excited for the future and expanding our team. We advertised through the usual channels and received well over 100 applications.

We were literally shocked by what we saw in the applications!
Everything from spelling errors, to diatribes about what they want, to failure to customise their resume to suit the job, to poor layout, the list goes on and on. With all the information available on the internet and even on our own website, surely you would think someone would put two and two together.
